’99全国厨师节于10月25日至10月29日在天津举办。1999年全国厨师节全国共有26个城市派团参加,与会代表达到900人,各地参观团人数达到1000余人。 全国厨师节每年举办一次,现已成为全国厨师及烹饪界人士开展理论研讨,进行技术交流,切磋技能技艺的重要聚会与活动。与烹饪技能大赛和其它烹饪表演不同的是:厨师节展示的菜、点均进行展卖,参加厨师节活动的人点买之后,即可现场观摩展卖菜品的制作并品尝。这种形式深受各地参会
