在“四化”建设中,我国工业企业在国內正面临着由生产型向生产经营型转移的形势,在国外则面临着“第四次产业革命”的严竣挑战,为了发挥近四十万个工业企业的作用,扭亏增盈,不断提高经济效益,在进行可能的外延扩大再生产的同时,还要坚持走内涵扩大再生产的道路,以加快建设步伐。为此,就要牢固的树立改革的思想,通过学习应用现代管理的理论和方法,积极慎重地实行管理改革,大力提高企业的素质,增强企业的应变能力、竞争能力和发展能力。为此,运用定量分析的方法,探讨提高企业经济效益的途径,乃是我国工业企业提高生产经营管理水平的重要课题。
