In order to ensure that the prefabricated concrete components have the structural properties required by the design and can be accurately installed in the structure, they should conform to the design geometry and dimensions. The current “Quality Inspection and Evaluation Standards for Construction and Installation Projects - Reinforced Concrete Prefabricated Component Engineering TJ32 (-76)” stipulates the allowable deviation values of various prefabricated components’ external dimensions and gives the methods for quality assessment. In 1986, a sample of prefabricated component factories across the country examined the prefabricated components with the largest output and the most extensive application in China.
