尧治河,其实并没有河。平均海拔1600米的深山峡谷里,有的只是小溪。山里水少,不足一个流量的小溪,都被人们称为“河”。在这七纵八横的“河”中,也不知哪一条与我们的先祖“尧”沾上了亲,人们就称这里为“尧治河”。尧治河处处深渊峡谷,遍地奇峰怪石,山山白云缭绕,满眼苍翠欲滴,是旅游观景的好地方。它北座保康,南临神农架,西接房县,四面群山相衔,绵延数百里。几十平方公里内,三三两两散居着100余户人家,他们统归一个行政村,叫尧治河村。

Dozens of square kilometers, 2322 scattered with more than 100 families, they go under an administrative village, called Yao Zhi Kawamura.
