勒内·韦勒克在与奥斯汀·沃伦合著的《文学理论》中通过对文学语言与非文学语言的阐述指明文学本体的存在方式,完成了文学界由“外部批评”转向“内部批评”的理论奠基。然而,在后现代视域下重新审视韦勒克提出的文学本体论的语言界说不难发现值得商榷之处,及其对人文学科进行强制分野的以构建文学学科独立性的过程中存在的视野遮蔽。韦勒克利用自己在文学批评界超级大师的地位,以权威的声音对文学本质进行宣讲,试图维护文学批评的独立性,并为文学研究的学科化、专业化而努力。
Rene Wellek, in the “Literary Theory” co-authored with Austin Warren, pointed out the existence of literary noumenon through the elaboration of literary language and non-literary language, thus completing the transition from “external criticism ” to “Internal criticism” theory foundation. However, it is not difficult to find out the questionable discussion about the linguistic definition of the literary ontology proposed by Verek in the postmodern perspective, as well as its existence in compulsory separation of the humanities disciplines in order to establish the independence of the literary subject Vision obscured. Wellek used his position as a super master in literary criticism to preach the essence of literature in an authoritative voice in an effort to safeguard the independence of literary criticism and to work hard for the discipline and specialization of literary studies.
