The signing ceremony of Pakistan-1R Satellite Ground Control Segment was held on October 15,2009 in Beijing.The ambassador of Pakistan to China and the President of China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) signed the contract.Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani,ambassador of China to Pakistan Luo Zhaohui,Vice President of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) Lei Fanpei and Vice Chairman of China Satellite Launch & Tracking Control General Department(CLTC) Shang Hong witnessed the signing ceremony.
