The notion of Force Dynamics, first proposed by Leonard Talmy, a cognitive linguist, places dynamic systems of force in a broad context of cognitive semantics to characterize the forces that interact with one another in order to characterize our Kinesthetic system. As a basic concept system, force dynamics is ubiquitous in the language and is used to construct conceptual materials related to interaction of forces in language. Dynamic systems are considered as a category of closed concepts, as are categories such as number, body, tone, and evidentiality. The vocabulary used to express dynamic patterns of force expresses not only physical forces but also metaphorical extensions, as well as abstract notions of force in the psychological and social fields. The conceptual system used to express force interaction is built into the language structure and connected to other cognitive domains.
