1982年做秘书工作的我随杨拯民同志从国家建材部调到全国政协机关工作。1983年是著名爱国者杨虎城将军诞辰90周年。按照全国政协的工作安排,作为全国政协副秘书长又是杨虎城将军长子的拯民同志,新年伊始便开始了纪念活动的筹备工作。由于杨虎城将军的伟大历史贡献,中央对这次纪念活动十分重视,安排的内容也很丰富。除准备召开纪念大会由中央领导讲话外,还要出版《杨虎城将军画册》。
In 1982, when I was a secretary, Comrade Yang Zhengmin was transferred from the State Building Materials Department to the work of the CPPCC National Committee. 1983 is the 90th anniversary of the birth of the famous Patriot General Yang Hucheng. In accordance with the work arrangements of the CPPCC National Committee, Comrade Zheng Min, the deputy secretary general of the CPPCC National Committee and the eldest son of General Yang Hucheng, started preparations for the commemorative activities at the beginning of the new year.
