我们这份刊物已有21周岁了,按我们这行的“行话”已是21年生了。在读者、作者和编者的共同浇灌抚育下,《柑桔与亚热带果树信息》从一株小苗长成一棵大树。从下一个月起,她将以新的名字《中国果业信息》出现在读者面前。在圆满完成这第21卷第6期刊物编辑出版的此时,我们首先想到的是要感谢各位作者和广大读者对本刊的支持和厚爱。经过多年来的努力,《柑桔与亚热带果树信息》已逐渐发展成为全国惟一一份综合性果业月刊,期发行量近8000份,得到了广大读者、作者的肯定。但是,刊名冗长拗口和定位的局限,制约了刊物的进一步发展,尤其是面对我国果业发展新形势,难以充分发挥应有的作用。2002年底,我们在《柑桔与亚热带果树信息》及《中国南方果树》上刊发了改刊读者调查问卷,近千名读者热心参与此项调查,为我们申请改刊工作提供了宝贵意见和建议。为更好地为我国果树产业可持续发展服务,促进广大农民增收致富奔小康,在上级主管部门的关心、支持下,《柑桔与亚热带果树信息》成功实现改刊,改刊前的各项准备工作业已完成。在着手编辑第1期《中国果业信息》之际,拿什么奉献给读者是我们时刻思考着的首要问题。首先,要准确把握《中国果业信息》综合指导类刊物的定位,为我国果树科研、生产、经贸活动的顺利开展发挥好导向作用;依托行业,服务读者;立足全国,面向世界,构建具有中国特色的果业信息平台。第二,要在进一步提高全体编辑人员业务素质和编辑质量的基础上,更新观念,与时俱进,以全新的产业理念、读者意识和市场意识倾力做好刊物的读者定位和市场拓展,在各级行业主管部门、科研教学机构、龙头企业、生产者和产业协会以及市场营销与加工行业之间,架起信息快速沟通的桥梁,努力提高刊物的社会效益与经济效益,为我国果树产业的发展不断做出新的贡献。第三,构建读者、作者、编者三位一体的互动关系,使刊物成为我们共有的财富。
