20世纪90年代初,我国还是大豆净出口国,最高时年出口量超过100万吨。如今,大豆却成了我国进口量最大的农产品之一。据海关统计,1999年我国进口大豆432万吨,2000年猛增至1045万吨,比上年增长242％。去年则达到了1376万吨,接近国内大豆年产量。2002年头4个月进口量为279万吨,而与此同时,在黑龙江、吉林等大豆主产区,昔日的“金豆子”却价格暴跌、少人问津。作为我国食用油市场的“当家”原料——
In the early 1990s, China was still a net exporter of soybean with an annual export volume of over 1 million tons. Today, soybeans have become one of China’s largest imports of agricultural products. According to the customs statistics, China imported 4.32 million tons of soybean in 1999 and soared to 10.45 million tons in 2000, an increase of 242% over the previous year. Last year it reached 13.76 million tons, close to the annual domestic soybean production. In the first four months of 2002, the import volume was 2.79 million tons. At the same time, in the main soybean producing areas such as Heilongjiang and Jilin, the old “golden beans” plummeted in price and few were interested.
