塔里木盆地北部中、新生界油气藏形成条件较好,在库车凹陷具有形成大油气田的基本石油地质条件,在组合条件较好的其他地区,可形成中、小型油气田(藏)群.本区中、新生界油气田(藏)的分布具三种模式.区内已在震旦系至上第三系的九个层系内发现了规模不等的油气藏,其中80%集中在中、新生界内(主要分布在古隆起及斜坡带),表明塔里木盆地北部中、新生界有广阔的油气勘探远景.
The Mesozoic and Cenozoic reservoirs in the northern part of the Tarim Basin are well-formed, with the basic petroleum geologic conditions for forming large oil and gas fields in the Kuqa sag, and medium- and small-sized oil and gas fields (reservoirs) can be formed in other areas with better combination conditions. There are three modes of distribution of Cenozoic oil and gas fields (reservoirs) in the study area.The oil and gas reservoirs of different sizes have been found in nine strata of Sinian to Upper Tertiary in the area, of which 80% are concentrated in Meso-Cenozoic (Mainly distributed in the paleo-uplift and slope belt), indicating that the Mesozoic and Cenozoic in the northern Tarim Basin has a vast prospect of oil and gas exploration.
