基于1998-2006年的面板数据,运用Malmquist指数方法,对中美航空公司业全要素生产率的变化作了测算与对比。研究结果显示,1998-2006年期间,中美航空公司业的全要素生产率虽然都有所提高,但其增长的驱动因素并不相同。美国航空公司业发展的主要驱动因素为技术变革与创新,中国航空公司业的发展动力主要为对已有技术的运用以及组织管理效率的提升。中国航空公司全要素生产率水平的提高,除继续强调综合效率的重要性之外,也要进一步加强对技术进步与创新的重视。随着产业的发展,技术进步将更加重要,它是产业特别是成熟期的航空运输业持续增长的源泉。
Based on the panel data of 1998-2006, the Malmquist index method is used to measure and contrast the changes of total factor productivity of Sino-American airlines. The results of the study show that although the total factor productivity of the Chinese and American airline industry has increased during 1998-2006, the drivers of its growth have not been the same. The main driving factor for the development of the U.S. airline industry is technological change and innovation. The driving force for the development of China’s aviation industry is mainly the use of existing technologies and the improvement of organizational management efficiency. In addition to continuing to emphasize the importance of comprehensive efficiency, the improvement of the level of total factor productivity of Chinese airlines should also be further emphasized on technological progress and innovation. With the development of the industry, technological progress will be even more important. It is a source of sustained growth of the air transport industry in industries, especially in the mature period.
