目前,为防止汽车变速器自行脱挡,同步器结合齿部趋向采用锥度齿结构(见图1),锥度齿面的夹角一般为4~7°。根据试验表明,这种锥度齿结构比通常采用的保证对称位置六个齿为正常齿厚,其余齿在一边切薄0.20~0.25mm的同步器结合方式(见图2,北京212吉普车变速器同步器现结构)脱挡时所需的力要大,因此锥度齿结构是变速器防止自行脱挡的有效措施。
