全球化背景下,各国军事交流和合作的新形势已经不断拓展了军队的职能和任务,对军事人员的外语能力也提出了新的、更高的要求。各国对军事人员的跨文化能力非常重视。跨文化意识和能力已经成为衡量新型军事人才综合素质的重要组成。军事英语课程应与国内外军事发展紧密结合,在强调掌握英语语言知识和技能的同时,还需要增强跨文化意识和能力的培养。本文在跨文化能力相关理论基础上探讨如何在军事英语教学中提高跨文化能力。
Under the background of globalization, the new situation of military exchanges and cooperation among nations has continuously expanded the functions and tasks of the military and set new and higher requirements on the foreign language capabilities of military personnel. Countries attach great importance to the intercultural competence of military personnel. Cross-cultural awareness and ability have become important components of the overall quality of new-type military professionals. Military English courses should be closely integrated with the military development both at home and abroad. While emphasizing English language knowledge and skills, they also need to enhance their intercultural awareness and ability. This article explores how to improve intercultural competence in military English teaching based on intercultural competence theory.
