列方程解应用题是初中数学教学中的重点和难点。怎样突破这个难点?教学实践表明,正确地、切实地分析题目中的数量关系,这是列方程解应用题教学中的关键所在。本文围绕分析数量关系这个中心,谈如下两个问题。一、何谓分析数量关系所谓分析数量关系,确切地说,应该包括两层意思:一是要分清应用题中的两种数,即已知数与未知数(题中指明要求的未知数与题中未指明要求的未知数);二是要明白应用题中的两种等量关系,即基本关系(不同类量之间固有的等量关系)与同类量关系(同类量在题目中所特有的等量关系)。
