在传说中,普罗米修斯用一根长长的茴香枝,将太阳神阿波罗的火种偷给了人类,从此世界拥有了传播光明和温暖的火。自公元前776年始,炽热的灰烬被保存在女灶神赫斯提的避难所,在每4年一次的奥运会上将灰烬复燃成火焰。奥运之路,一柄圣火传递了无数个起点。火,就是有这样一种魔力,以这样一种独特的方式,将人们的梦想与激情点燃,而随着那圣火一起被传递的还有更高、更快、更强的奥林匹克精神。在2008年北京奥运会的火炬传递中,有这样一群特殊的人,他们曾因身体的部分缺失而被称为弱者,但他们却以自身为证告诉世人,不同的生命历程也会有同样的精彩——同一片祥云,同一样激情。奥运之路,永无终点。
