2009年12月,哈尔滨医科大学校长杨宝峰当选中国工程院院士。回国十几年来,一次次的突破,让他不断地为药理学研究写下新的历史。他领导的课题组首次发现微小核苷酸和冠心病心源性猝死的关系;首次发现心脏M3受体和心律失常的关系;首次发现抗心律失常中药作用较弱的原因是对心律失常发生的最佳靶点作用弱;首次发现中药苦参碱、心律齐片、7溴化乙氧苯四氢巴马汀(EBP)等药物具有调控心律失常作用并阐明机制;首次发现中药效能、效价较西药低的原因……杨宝峰曾说:“一个有良知的科技工作者、一名医生,在事业上,要有所为;在金钱、名利面前,要有所不为。我所拥有的财富已多于我的需求,我应该用人民给予我的精神和物质财富,回报社会。”他用行动践行了自己的诺言。——编者
