Differentiating the May 4th Movement of Scientific Thought Xu Hui Studying the history of scientific thoughts during the Republic of China (1912-1949) must be identified. This is how to appraise the rise of scientific thinking in the May Fourth New Culture Movement. The author noticed that the research on this issue was active in recent years. Some comment on the connotation of the May 4th scientific thought from a new academic perspective and put forward some suggestions that are in line with those of the domestic academic circles in the past.
