工况监测故障诊断技术(即电子监控技术)是有关机械系统运行、维护的一项新技术。液压挖掘机应用工况监测和故障诊断技术能够监测作业工况、预报故障苗头并及时排除,同时还能改善作业条件,增加司机的舒适程度,确保安全、可靠,提高作业效率。一个实用的液压挖掘机工况监测和故障诊断系统应具备的主要功能是:明确运行即时状态(如发动机转速、机油压力、主泵压力、液压油温等),提示故障原因和发生故障的部位;预测故障可能的发展并提供应急措施,确保运转可靠;适应液压挖掘机恶劣的工作条件;良好的人机界面和可操作性以及较高的性能价格比等。
