价值取向是人在生活和教育环境中学习和经历的产物,因此在不同教育环境下人会产生十分不同的价值取向。对警察院校而言,因其警务化管理本身的制度化、规范化、目标化、与封闭化等特点,以及警察院校在教育目的中存在的功利主义因素使得教育实践中往往容易引起重管理轻教育、重形式轻内容、重统一轻个性等弊端,这让警察院校大学生群体中极易萌生消极学习看重形式、急功近利、就业第一和唯做官论等过度功利化的价值取向,在另一方面也造成了重交际轻学习的学风,这必然会成为警察院校大学生在走上工作岗位后法治意识、廉政意识与人权意识欠缺的潜在成因。
