煤气站和鍋爐房燃料供应的机械化运輸設計,在整个煤气站和鍋爐房的設計中是一个不可缺少的部分,它在綫路布置上虽然不像鑄工机械化那样复杂,但是如果方案布置得不好或者設备选擇得不当,也往往会給生产上帶来很多麻煩。可以根据工艺的要求、場地的限制等条件,組成各式各样的燃料供应运輸綫路,选用各种不同的运輸設备。在运輸量較大而又要求保証能及时可靠地供应燃料的情况下,可以用双綫制,双线制就是整个运輸系統的設备都用兩套,其中一套备用。在一般情况下,單綫制已足夠应用,但其运輸工作要能保証每晝夜不超过16小时,也就是說每天至少要有八小时不进行工作。
