第一章总则第一条为了规范军事志编纂工作，保障编纂工作的顺利进行，根据国家和军队的有关规定和要求，结合军事志编纂工作实际，制定本规定。第二条本规定是全军军事志编纂工作的基本依据，适用于第一届军事志的编纂、修订和续修工作。第三条军事志是地方志的重要组成部分。
Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 In order to regulate the compilation of military ambitions and guarantee the smooth progress of compilation, this Provisions is formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions and requirements of the state and the military and in the light of the actual work of compilation of military ambitions. Article 2 These Provisions are the basic basis for compiling the military’s military records of the whole army and are applicable to the compilation, revision and renewal of the military records of the first session. The third military ambition is an important part of local history.
