[The author presses] There is still more than one year before the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games that attracts worldwide attention. The construction of venues in the Olympic Village is the focus of attention of construction workers and construction enthusiasts all over the world. In this issue of Sports Architecture, a large amount of valuable information on Sydney 2000 Olympic venue construction was given by Mr. Yang Han, the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Sydney (a graduate of the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University in 1996).
