On February 3, 2009, Yingli Green Energy Holding Co., Ltd. and FIFA signed a cooperation agreement in Beijing and formally announced that Yingli Green Energy will become the seventh special sponsor of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and the first sponsor of the World Cup Yingli Green Energy, the football company’s renewable energy company, is also the first Chinese company to receive this global sponsorship. According to the Sponsorship Agreement of World Cup Football (“Agreement”), Yingli Green Energy will cooperate extensively with FIFA to further its strategic marketing activities around the world through the World Cup.
