随着时代的发展,翻译这一行为在跨文化交际中扮演着越来越不可或缺的角色。关于翻译标准争论也一直没有停息。如何厘定翻译,尤其是诗歌翻译的标准,一直是翻译大家、翻译理论家讨论的焦点。大家一致将“忠实原文”视为翻译的最高境界。在译诗的过程中,译者应不拘泥某一翻译理论,或某一翻译法则,而应从诗歌的各个角度,各个方面来做到原文与译文的等价。本文以歌德名诗《米丽容歌》的两个译本的比较来探讨诗歌互译过程中多元等价标准的必要性。
With the development of the times, the act of translating plays an increasingly important role in intercultural communication. The standard debate on translation has not stopped. How to determine the standard of translation, especially poetry translation, has always been the focus of discussion among translators and translation theorists. We all agree that “faithful original” as the highest level of translation. In the process of translating poems, the translator should not stick to a certain translation theory or a certain translation law, but should make the equivalent of the original and the translation from all aspects of poetry. In this paper, we compared the two versions of Goethe’s famous poem “Miri Jungle” to explore the necessity of multiple equivalence criteria in the process of mutual translation of poetry.
