In this study, the authors validated a simple strategy for boosting the immune response using a two-component dendritic cell-directed antigen delivery system. One component consists of a bifunctional fusion protein for dendritic cell targeting and the other component is prepared from biotinylated PLGA nanoparticles (NPs) to coat the antigen.
