伴随市场经济体制的不断完善,当前港口货运统计工作中会经常性的发生一些新的情况问题,影响着和谐稳定的发展秩序。客观来讲当前港口货运统计工作依然沿袭着传统的统计体系,在统计方法层面呈现着相应的薄弱性,难以切实满足时代经济的发展所需,且因为港口规模的不断加大,在统计信息及内容层面的需求也愈发复杂,急需就统计调查方法做出完善,良性满足内外报表信息的统计所需,支持各类经管活动所需。故而在新时期构建一套完善的港口货运统计分析预测方法,拓展统计的范围,形成全面的统计信息体系,现实而必要。
