自然实验教学,是培养学生动手能力,开发学生智力,训练和提高学生观察思维能力,热爱自然科学的重要基本途径。然而,处于农村办学条件下的初级小学(我区农村的完全小学都定为中心小学,中心小学下辖的分校都是只有一至四年级的初级小学)又是怎样的状况呢?为此,我们对农村分校实验教学的情况做了一次全面的调查。通过调查发现:全区28所农村分校开设自然课的学校19所,仅占分校总数的63%,其它37%的学校根本没有开设自然课。在开课的学校中,50%的学校自然课却是有名无实,不按教材上课,不按
