张爱玲曾说苏青“实在是伟大的”。这话用在上海市作协主席王安忆身上,其实也是不会错得太多。王安忆的伟大在于她对上海顽强的书写。她紧紧地抓住上海,这个或许是20 世纪中国最具魅力的城市,并竭力要变成它的记录人和传言者。在《寻找上海》一文中,记忆里街道人群的不同脸相成了捕捉旧上海蛛丝马迹的方式。对王安忆而言,脸形是市街的标记,诉诸感官,唤起对城市不同角落的回忆。带点凶相的烟纸店老板娘的脸,忧伤的挑热水老头的脸,跛脚的失业青年的脸,这些形形色色的脸相交织成作者寻寻觅觅的上海。今天让我们走近王安忆。
