近一段时间媒体颇为热闹,“虎妈”刚去,“狼爸”又来,报刊杂志报道和评论连篇累牍。对于这种虎狼式严酷的教育方式,社会舆论形成鲜明的两极:家长趋之若鹜的热捧与专家深恶痛绝的批评。二者都不否认这样一个基本事实,虎妈成功地将女儿训练成艺术人才,狼爸将四个孩子中的三个送进了北大。他们共同的特点是对孩子严格要求并伴随斥责和体罚。这种方式好不好?面对同样的事实,从不同的角度,常常能作出不同的价值判断。
Recently the media is quite lively, “Tiger Mom ” just go, “Wolf Dad ” again, newspapers and magazines reported and comment endlessly. For such a tiger-wolf-style harsh education, public opinion formed a sharp two-pole: the parents rush and sought-after criticism abhorrent. Neither denied the basic fact that the tiger mother successfully trained her daughter into an artistic talent and that the wolf father sent three of the four children to Peking University. Their common denominator is strict demand on children with rap and corporal punishment. This way is good? Facing the same fact, from different angles, often can make different value judgments.
