The National Seminar on Folk Laws and Ethnic Customary Laws was jointly launched by Professor Xie Hui, a law professor at Beijing Institute of Technology and Professor Chen Jinzhao at East China University of Political Science and Law. In order to strengthen and explore new theories of jurisprudence, civil law and national customary law in our country, New ideas and new methods of exchange and cooperation of the national conference. Since 2005, the conference has been held for nine times. The first nine were respectively from Law School of Qinghai Nationalities University, Law School of Southwest University for Nationalities, Law School of Northwest University for Nationalities, Law School of South-Central University for Nationalities, Guizhou Nationalities College and Carey College, Guangxi Normal University, Tianshui Teachers College, Northwest University of Politics and Law, Shanghai Normal University, Faculty of Law hosted.
