金秋10月,举世瞩目的中共十七大在北京胜利召开。这次盛会贯穿着一个主题--高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜,为夺取全面建设小康社会新胜利而奋斗。在这一激动人心的时刻,我们回首波澜壮阔的中国革命,无数志士仁人为中华之崛起上下求索,力挽狂澜,在艰难、曲折、奋进的历史长河中,终于寻到了一条改革开放、融入世界先进潮流的现代化航程,那就是开辟了中国特色社会主义道路,形成了中国特色社会主义理论体系,这是历史的选择。恩格斯曾云,一个政党的正式纲领,就是公开树立起来的旗帜。胡锦涛同志在十七大报告中向全世界宣告了我们的伟大旗帜,展示了中华民族光辉灿烂的前景。这面旗帜犹如光芒四射的一轮红日,千舟竞发的广阔大海,令众多青年学者激情澎湃,意气风发,对建设伟大祖国的壮丽明天充满信心。本期,我们特选择7位青年学者的笔谈,从不同的角度来诠释中国特色社会主义道路的历史意义。
In October, the 17th CPC National Congress that attracted worldwide attention was successfully held in Beijing. The event runs through one theme - holding high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics and fighting for a new victory in building an overall well-to-do society. At this exciting time, we look back at the magnificent Chinese revolution. Countless people with noble ideas and people seek for the rise of China, turning the tide. With the long history of struggle, tortuous and progressive endeavor, we have finally found a reform and opening up trend that has been integrated into the world’s advanced trend The voyage of modernization means that we have opened up the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and formed the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This is a historical choice. Engels once said that the formal program of a political party is an openly established banner. In the report of the 17th National Congress, Comrade Hu Jintao proclaimed our great banner to the world and demonstrated the glorious future of the Chinese nation. This banner is like a radiant red sun and the vast sea competing in thousands of boats. Many young scholars are passionate and spirited and full of confidence in the magnificent tomorrow of building a great motherland. In this issue, we specially selected seven young scholars to make written speeches and explain the historical significance of the road to socialism with Chinese characteristics from different perspectives.
