The strategic value of corporate culture has once again become a hot topic because it is a new, handy scapegoat sought by organizations in the 1990s to explain why new technologies have failed to achieve the desired efficiency and productivity gains. But is it fair to assume corporate culture is responsible? Is there any other factor that has caused the “magical recovery” that science and technology has guaranteed to fail?
