浙辐802系浙江农业大学与余杭县农科所协作,以四梅2号干种子经辐射处理选育的早熟早籼新品种。本所1982年引入试种,亩产969.50斤,比二九青亩产838.00斤增产15.69％;1983、1984年又在地处安吉、杭州、金华、忂州的五个劳改农场农科所试种,平均亩产787.36斤,比二九青平均亩产643.76斤增22.31％,达极显著水准。三年试种情况表明:浙辐802主要表现早熟高产、抗性较好。一、主要特性和特征浙辐802株型较松散,叶阔而挺;株高80厘米左右,穗长18厘米,每穗总粒80粒左
