西瓜枯萎病是一种严重危害西瓜生长的病害。调查和试验分析结果表明,在西瓜枯萎病菌的侵染循环中,种子不是主要病菌来源,西瓜种子发芽期受侵染率最高;西瓜座瓜后植株萎蔫死亡达到高峰;重茬地发病率高,轮作倒茬间隔时间越短,发病率越高;地势低洼及大水漫灌、串灌其发病率也高。试验示范结果表明,用嫁接和多菌灵播前药土+生长期灌药2次的方法防治西瓜枯萎病,其防效较佳,相对防效分别为95..7%、91.3%。
