The number of public buildings in the world has increased dramatically, while living standards have continued to increase. The energy consumption of buildings such as residential buildings, high-rise hotels, and office buildings has greatly increased. According to estimates from some industrially advanced countries in North America and Western Europe, the direct energy consumption of buildings is about 30% of the national energy consumption. Due to the global energy crisis, many countries such as Romania, Canada, Japan, and other countries have formulated energy conservation laws for new housing projects or used energy consumption of buildings as a technical and economic indicator. Many countries in energy-saving buildings are researching and innovating, especially the use of solar energy and new thermal insulation materials
