在文化出版领域,一种被称为“自出版”的新模式已然出现,且日渐显现良好的发展势头。自出版指的是作者在没有第三方出版商介入的情况下,利用电子图书平台自主出版书籍或多媒体产品,其作品被称为“原生电子书”。有了iPad、kindle等手持阅读终端,任何写作者都可将文字作品直接放入阅读器图书商店出售。这种省略了图书编辑、印刷等纸质化过程的自出版已经形成一股热潮,让传统出版业为之一惊。
