It has been recognized that storage of sweet potato roots is one of the most important determinants of economic output and dry matter production. The effect of root tubers on dry matter production is demonstrated by the “source-sink relationship.” However, the tuberous volume is still not clear, and the physiological and biochemical factors that regulate tuberous volume remain unknown. Under field conditions, rootstocks and rootstocks were used to assess the varieties of rootstocks by using grafted rootstocks with the same root tuber content as the scion or by interacting grafts. However, since the growth of the top of the grafted plants varies with rootstock varieties, even if the same variety is used as the scion,
