Finland, with around 1,250kmof coast and an estimated 188,000 lakes, has one of the highest boat ownership rates per capitain the world. One in every seven Finns is said to own a boat. During the months of the midnightsun, coastal regions are a sailing and fishing paradise. Its’ little wonder, then, that theboatbuilding industry in Finland is well developed.
