激光驾波束制导系统是利用激光波束控制导弹飞行、攻击敌人目标的制导武器系统,具有弹上系统简单、精度高、抗干扰性能好的特点,是一种先进的制导武器系统。它适用于低空和超低空防空导弹系统的制导,也适用于反坦克导弹。目前,西方国家采用激光驾波束制导的导弹系统已有十几种,如美国的龙式、橡树棍、针刺导弹,法国的阿克拉,瑞典的RBS-70导弹和英国的吹笛导弹等。具有代表性的是瑞典的RBS-70导弹系统,它是用于超低空的防空导弹,并已于1979年装备部队,现在又进行了新的改进,性能上有了新的提高。
