唐诗选本的发展大致经历了这样一个历史进程:唐代的初创期、宋金元的发展期、明代的兴盛期、清代的总结期。清代是中国古代学术、文化、文学集大成的历史阶段,作为唐诗重要载体的唐诗选本,其主要特点就是对历代唐诗选本的经验进行了全面的总结,表现出明显的集大成特征,这种特征具体来说体现为两个方面:一是集历代唐诗选编选成果之大成;二是集当时社会时代风会之大成。
The development of the selection of the Tang poems generally goes through such a historical process: the initial period of the Tang Dynasty, the development period of the Song and Jin Dynasties, the flourishing period of the Ming Dynasty and the conclusion period of the Qing Dynasty. The Qing Dynasty is a historical stage in which the ancient Chinese academy, culture and literature are greatly integrated. As an important carrier of Tang poetry, its main feature is its comprehensive summarization of the experience of the selection of ancient Tang poems, which shows obvious characteristics of integration. The characteristics are embodied in two aspects: one is the culmination of the compilation and selection of the Tang poems in each dynasty; the other is the culmination of the social conviction of the times.
