一般控制核苷酸合成5(GCN5)隶属于组蛋白乙酰基转移酶家族(HATs),而且是细胞内的一个重要乙酰基转移酶。它主要存在于细胞核内,其乙酰基转移酶活性不仅可使组蛋白的赖氨酸残基乙酰化,直接参与基因的表达调控;同时也可使一些非组蛋白乙酰化,进而发挥间接调控基因表达的作用。相关研究显示,GCN5与神经系统的发育以及相关神经系统疾病的发病机制有着潜在重要联系。本文就GCN5在神经系统中的研究进展作一综述。
