磁力研磨法,50年代初起源于苏联、保加利亚等东欧国家。60年代发展比较迅速,相继研制出了一些实用机床。如苏联的1、2、4等型号平面磁力研磨机床。近年来日本学者对磁力研磨法进行了系统的研究,开发了外圆柱面、平面、球面、复杂曲面的磁力研磨方法。研磨后表面粗糙度可达Ra0.2μm。该法主要应用于零件表面的抛光、去毛刺、棱边倒圆等方面。
