在Ⅷ极以上的坚硬岩层中提高钻进效率的问题,是当前钻探工程的一项重要技术课题.在其它新的技术方法没有完善之前,钢粒钻进仍然占有重要的地位,并存在着一定的潜力.从铁砂钻进发展到钢粒钻进,使坚硬岩层的钻进效率提高了一倍左右.1957年以来钢粒钻进才较普遍地得到了推广和应用,但几年来,关于钢粒钻进的原理和一些技术问题,在认识上还不够一致,实际应用上也不统一.为了进一步探讨钢粒钻进的技术和发挥钢粒钻进的潜力,根据几年来的生产实践和观察以及有关试验资料的情况验证,关于钢粒钻进的几个主要问题,提出以下的认识来共同研究.
