电磁场教材中把电容公式C=q/U的适用条件表述为“适用于两个导体很近或无外导体时”，现通过对两道例题的讨论，指出教材中的说法具有片面性，不利于正确掌握电容的计算。进一步运用多导体系的部分电容理论进行分析，得出了适用条件应改为“外界对电容器的电势差无影响”的结论，为电容器的教学提供了参考意见。
