胺基脲敏感性胺氧化酶(SSAO)是体内具有重要生理功能的胺氧化酶,能催化胺类物质进行氧化脱氨反应生成相应的醛类,并伴随产生H2O2和氨水。SSAO抑制剂能降低体内SSAO的活性,影响各种代谢产物的生成,对SSAO结构性质、生理功能和病理变化的研究具有重要意义。SSAO抑制剂多能同时抑制单胺氧化酶(MAO),目前发现2-溴乙胺(2-BEA)能选择性地高效抑制SSAO。
Aminocarbamide-sensitive amine oxidase (SSAO) is an in vivo amine oxidase that has important physiological functions that catalyze the oxidative deamination of amines to the corresponding aldehydes with concomitant production of H2O2 and ammonia. SSAO inhibitors can reduce the activity of SSAO in vivo and affect the production of various metabolites, which is of great significance for the study of the structural properties, physiological functions and pathological changes of SSAO. SSAO inhibitors are able to simultaneously inhibit monoamine oxidase (MAO), and 2-bromoethylamine (2-BEA) has been found to selectively and efficiently inhibit SSAO.
