帮助学生掌握一定数量的词汇是中学英语教学的任务之一。词汇教学在不同阶段各有侧重点,因而各个阶段教学的方法也不尽相同。在初级阶段,利用实物进行词汇教学是基本方法之一。现以教rubber为例,介绍如下: 第一步:教师手拿一块橡皮,用英语对学生说:What is in my hand?Piease guess.Is it a pen?No.Is it a knife?NO.Is it an egg?NO.Is it a cake?NO.It′s a rubbc r.(重复8-5遍)教师接着说:What colour is this rubber?Is this rubber red?
Assisting students to master a certain number of vocabulary is one of the tasks of English teaching in middle school.
