北京、天津、武漢三地数学競赛委員会举办的中等学校学生数学競赛,已經評选完畢,三地分別在5月13日,5月27日,5月4日举行了授獎大会。北京市共有62个学校的622位同学参加了数学競賽。競赛結果有33人被錄取,獲得了数学競賽优勝紀念獎章、獎狀和書籍,在授獎大会上,高等教育部曾昭掄副部長、教育部林礪儒副部長、北京市教育局翁独健局長都向同学們祝贺,勉励同学們更加努力,不要骄傲,数学竞賽委員会主席華罗庚在他的总結报告中,首先向优胜同学們祝賀,告誡他們不要驕傲和自满,要加倍努力,和同学們一起继续前進。他还鼓励沒被錄取的同学,不要自馁,要更加奋發,刻苦鑽研。頑强地向科学進軍,獲得数学競賽第一名的孟强也在会上講了話。授獎大会完畢以后,由我国数学家華罗庚、陈建功,傳种孙、段学复、江澤涵等分别給同学們分析和講解数学競賽試題,同学们深深感到党和老一輩科学家的关怀和爱护。表示更加努力学習,作老科学家的优秀的接班人
The Mathematics Contest for Secondary School Students held by the Mathematics Competition Commission of Beijing, Tianjin and Wuhan has been selected.
