When the story started, it was the spring of 1982 that Gan Jianhua came to Qinghai Qaidam Basin from Hengyang, Hunan Province. Studying in the plateau and working hard eleven years later, he became a famous reporter, famous writer, cultural scholar, bibliophile, collector of paintings and calligraphers, and entrepreneur.
