“美苑杯”由其原创至今,已历三届。年华虽不久,却已深为人知。因之,追随者云集。宏观之,今年的参赛情况,与上届仿佛。全国有40余所院校的应届毕业生(包括研究生)积极参加,国内著名的和主要的高等美术院校几乎都有毕业生响应。全部参赛作品500余幅,虽不能说尽是一流水平,从此则诚可以见出当代学院美术教学成果的大概风貌。当然,三年来,由参赛作品的种类和数量,可以明显看出油画一直居压倒的优势,几乎占全部参赛作品数量的三分之一或者更强劲一些。这种迹象,是喜是忧,贤者达人,一时不洽断言,只俟岁月的年轮平心论定。只不过,“美苑杯”使人们有机会见识这种学院美术教学与创作现状。 “美苑杯”的旨归,纯为为国计为民计的公益事业,诚为天下美术青年着想,参加者概不收一分一厘,获奖者且有可心的馈赠。以时度之,即使想当然,也当知举办者举步投足的苦心,说句真心而又自嘲的话语:“美苑杯”——为了美术事业而任劳无怨者也! 今年的“美苑杯”,举办者有幸,参加者亦有幸,蒙协办单位黑龙江艺术专修学院的厚意,慨然予经济上的资助,使之得以从容结束。 逝者如斯!欢迎来年再有新人来! “Mei Yuan Cup” from its original so far, has gone through three sessions.
